Chickadees

We can learn a lot from a Black-capped Chickadee!  They are trusting and brave enough to fly right to your hand.  They are incredibly resilient and survive some of the harshest winter conditions.  They are also highly energetic and altruistic birds – watch them at the feeder, they share the food and allow all other flock members to eat! 

In our Chickadee program we foster these traits among students along with a heavy focus on play and emergent-based learning. Students will regularly explore and engage with nature throughout all of their daily adventures.
