Painted Turtles

We can learn a lot from a Painted Turtle!  To really slow down and take in our surroundings.  To be aware of any potential hazards or to swim and explore!  They grow up fast, change quickly and like to hang out in groups on logs and fallen trees, totally connected with Nature.

Our Painted Turtle students spend most of the day exploring and discovering all of the wonders, big and small. Learning to work together, cultivating their connection with nature in fun and engaging ways, the Painted Turtles are active agents in their own learning! They partake in developmentally appropriate activities and adventure, engage in “risky play” and learn how to assess their own risks independently. It’s a good day to be a Painted Turtle!
