We can learn a lot from a Blue Heron!  They display a calmness unlike anything else and are so incredibly patient.  And even though the Heron is seemingly still, a lot more is actually happening than meets the eye.  It easily meanders through all types of ecosystems and they are magnificent when they choose to soar.  They are wise, stand tall and self-reliant.  There’s a reason we call them “Great”!

Our Blue Herons take a deeper dive into nature connection and outdoor skills.  Our younger students look up to these folks as leaders in anticipation of the day they’ll be a Blue Heron. In this older flock, rituals are built in as students push towards new goals with a focus on learning bushcraft and leadership skills.
